This revolutionary combination of ozone, UV-C and copper electrolysis means you can have a chlorine-free pool! With this Blue Lagoon Ozone UV-C Ionizer unit as part of your pool system you can keep your pool water fresh, crystal-clear and above all hygienically clean, without having to put chlorine or other chemicals in the water. You connect the “Blue Lagoon Ozone UV-C Ionizer” to your pool system. The water is pumped into the device via the supplied reactor by means of a pump. Air is sucked in by the venturi because of the speed of the water flowing through the reactor. This air enters the device’s housing between the quartz glass and the Ozone UV-C lamp. In this way the air is charged with ozone. The special ozone lamp produces 0.6 grams of ozone. The ozone-charged air is mixed with the pool water in the reactor. By mixing the ozone air with the water a powerful disinfection process takes place in the pool water. The water mixed with ozone flows further into the housing outside the quartz glass and beyond the ozone UV-C lamp. The UV-C produced by the lamp has an output of 25 watts and ensures that the ozone residues in the water are destroyed. The water is then taken by the device to the second unit, where a 75-watt UV-C lamp and the copper cartridges are located. The 75-watt UV-C lamp also produces an output of 25 watts and the 316L stainless-steel housing gives an additional reflection of up to 35%. The copper emission does not exceed 0.7 p.p.m. By exposing the ozone-charged water to UV-C radiation for the second time, the particles of ozone in the water are again fully broken down. Since copper is added to the water, the water stays algae- and bacteria-free. With the Blue Lagoon Ozone UV-C Ionizer you test your pool water once every two weeks. You then only need to test your water’s value with the simple test strip supplied. And if necessary adjust the device to the correct level.

What is ozone?
Ozone is oxygen (O3). This ozone atom (O3) destroys and oxidizes molds, bacteria and viruses, also called micro organisms. After the ozone has done his job it doesn’t leave any by-products in the pool because it reverts back to oxygen. Ozone does not only destroy micro organisms it also destroys cosmetics, urine, perspiration, body oil and creams.
